Unlike Anything You’ve Ever Ridden

Snowmobiling enthusiasts everywhere know the name Polaris and what it has stood for since its humble beginnings in 1954. Those who have experienced RMK® know it is the world’s first and greatest mountain sled, built to be the lightest, most rigid and the most responsive to rider input. Combine all of this and you’ve got a mountain sled that provides you with the most precise and effortless ride in deep snow, plus incredibly agile and playful handling. It’s the most powerful Polaris and allows you to change direction and maneuver confidently in all conditions. And it’s good-looking too.

The AXYS® Body Panel Design – a compact body panel geometry and design –helps give the sled the best lean angle in the industry and allows it to hold even the steepest side hill lines. Even more impressive, the PRO-RMK® does not "panel out" like other sled brands.

Power with a Capital "P"

The 850 PRO-RMK® 155 comes with the Snow Check Exclusive 850 Patriot™engine, the most powerful liquid cooled snowmobile engine ever built by Polaris and with power for any terrain. Add the QuickDrive ® System to this manufactured marvel, designed to make the sled rev quicker for an instantaneous lift, and you reduce rotational inertia by 21 percent for easier handling using a complete lightweight drive system.

The engine, the 850 PRO-RMK® 155’s newly-designed crankshaft is stronger and stiffer with low inertia, higher capacity bearings and pins, a larger clutch taper and separate crankpin. A new piston design brings with it 23 percent more contact area, a higher capacity wrist pin, 3 mm thicker dome and 8 mm compression height.

Most impressive might be the new cylinder with an advanced cooling system. A one-piece cylinder head with a 6-bolt cylinder structure, new 3 stage E-VE-S II for simplified and lighter weight, magnesium diecast EV base with improved fit and sealing and seamless integration with the AXYS® Chassis gives this first-class machine a class-leading edge in durability and power, unrivaled responsiveness and acceleration.

The Rear Suspension is the True Performer

Every snowmobile must be in balance both front and rear to work properly for you. And this has to do with your weight. The adjustment is the rear suspension preload, which will set the sled’s ride height. If you do not change the rear preload, then the sled will squat too low in the rear and lift at the front, leaving less pressure on the skis for balanced steering and handling in corners.

The Polaris PRO-RMK® 155 is lightweight, and its rigid suspension delivers power directly to the snow. Its suspension design improves weight transfer to deliver better control and a more compliant ride. Off-trail, riders will notice improved weight transfer while maintaining the approach angle. On-trail, riders will notice a more compliant and comfortable ride. The powerful rear suspension features a rail design that helps lift the rear skid while driving it forward.

Safety is our Top Priority

Polaris snowmobiles are the lightest, most rigid and versatile sleds with added strength and durability not only for an instantaneous lift but for when you have to physically do the lifting. The days when snowmobiles weighed nearly 250 pounds are, happily, long gone!

The Polaris PRO-RMK® 155 comes with PowerTrac® XT running boards built for extreme riders for more sure-footed safety and performance when side-hilling and in deep snow while maintaining usable space for the rider and traction at the rear of the boards.

A redesigned mountain hoop, moved down to 2.5-inches, to prevent hitting the rider in the chest in steeper terrain is available as a one-piece hoop made of durable polyurethane material. Also included are Walker Evans ® Piggyback Shocks with compression adjusters and remote reservoirs offer the best performance across the broadest range of conditions.
